Greetings from Hamly Business Solutions Job Title: Medical Billing Team Lead - Demo Charge Entry Team Location: Thanjavur Job Summary: The Medical Billing Team Lead for the Demo Charge Entry Team will oversee and guide a team responsible for entering demo charge data into the system. This role involves ensuring accurate charge entry, adherence to timelines, and high-quality standards. The team lead will also serve as a point of contact for resolving any issues, facilitating training, and ensuring that the team is performing efficiently. Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, mentor, and motivate the Demo Charge Entry team to achieve departmental goals. Ensure team members are trained on policies, procedures, and software systems for accurate charge entry. Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions as needed. Conduct regular team meetings to review performance, share updates, and address any challenges. Charge Entry Oversight: Oversee the accurate and timely entry of demo charges into the billing system. Ensure all charge entries are compliant with medical billing standards and organizational guidelines. Review charge data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency. Work closely with the billing and coding teams to resolve discrepancies in charge entry. Quality Control & Process Improvement: Continuously monitor charge entry processes to identify areas for improvement. Ensure quality assurance practices are adhered to in charge entry to minimize errors. Develop and implement strategies to streamline processes and improve overall team efficiency. Prepare regular reports on charge entry accuracy, productivity, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., billing, coding, and account management) to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations. Serve as the point of contact for internal and external queries related to demo charge entry. Address escalated concerns from team members or stakeholders regarding charge entry issues. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures during charge entry. Maintain accurate documentation of charge entry processes and updates for reference and auditing purposes. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field (preferred). Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical billing, with at least 7+ years in a supervisory or team lead role. Strong knowledge of medical billing codes, charge entry processes, and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA). Familiarity with medical billing software and electronic health records (EHR) systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
