Description We are seeking a passionate and talented Team Lead with a minimum of 10+ years’ experience working within software/application development, across multiple work streams, and handling a team of 5-6 members or project teams. This role requires hands-on software development experience to develop and support MRI’s applications. Good knowledge of development techniques and methodologies is essential. Your primary focus will be working on the ongoing development and support of a large enterprise PHP application. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. Responsibilities Develop software solutions to meet specified requirements. Investigate and resolve support issues that require technical attention Deliver a high standard of software quality with minimal defects/bugs Produce technical documentation for the new developments Attend Scrum meetings and share the progress of in-flight work items Collaborate with colleagues while developing new functionality to reduce overlaps Keep up-to-date on emerging technology and provide suggestions/recommendations for improvements Strive for continuous improvement through adhering to Development Best Practice Technical Requirements Excellent working experience on PHP and CodeIgniter (Mandatory) Experience with MySQL Experience with a front-end Javascript library, such as jQuery Experience working with SOAP and REST APIs Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as SVN Experience with Xdebug or similar debugging/profiling tools Understanding of MVC principles, and experience with a relevant PHP framework Benefits Hybrid working arrangements Annual performance-related bonus Health insurance 6x Flexis: knock 2.5 hours off your day on any day Engaging, fun & inclusive culture: check out the MRI Software APAC Insta feed and stories!
