Job Description

Objective: Maintains safe and secure environment for employees and customers by monitoring premises and personnel. The candidate should be able to co-ordinate with all the internal stakeholders in the plants/depots/ offices and be able to get complete control of security operations. Title: Team Leader- Security Function: Human Resources Work Location: Lote Plant(Chiplun/ Ratnagiri) Job Responsibilities: Secures premises, personnel and property by Strict Access control, monitoring, surveillance, inspecting buildings, equipment, access points and patrolling. Prevents losses by strict adherences to the processes, Surprise Checks, by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. Selection of security agency in consultation with National Manger, training of security personnel to discharge their duties efficiently. Ensuring all Security documents are maintained & updates as per the Company policies & Statutory requirements. Monitoring & sharing of Security Updates to Management through various internal and external sources of information. Sharing on time and accurate information to Unit Leadership & National Security Manager and provide clarity on any query raised to support appropriate decision making. Should be well versed with Incident management frame works and be able to incorporate and manage within the HCCBPL organization. Compiling Data like Man days, Costs & all other security details from time to time of Locations & share it with Corporate. Support in preparation of Budget for Security function. Setting up CCTV & other Virtual Security systems in the locations after assessing the present setup. Traffic Management in the plant & Support to Safety Function Supervises: - Third Party Security Personnel. Direct Reports: - None Ex-service man and Retired Personnel are mandatory Geographical Scope: Factory/Depots//Offices Reports Manager Factory HR Key Customers : Internal Customers: All Departments in HCCBPL External Customers: Vendors, Service providers, Police, Government officials, Direct and indirect customers Job Requirements: Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate with Experience in Security Function. Ex-serviceman preferred. Experience: 5 to 7 years of security industrial security experience/Defence service experience. Functional Skills: Strong qualities of leadership, including the ability to review and assess the work of a team and individuals within it, inspire workers and promote involvement. To plan schedule and ensure proper detail of tasks for all third-party security personnel. PC Skills, knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite at an intermediate level is required. Understanding of security management obligations (including statutory obligations), requirements and dynamics Proven command, control, and operational experience in a challenging or high-risk environment Ability to contribute to security management and control. Strong skills in written & oral communication. Excellent mentoring skills, ability to lead by example. Thinking outside the box and giving guidance and direction to team members. Ability to make rational decisions. Must be detail oriented and have interpersonal skills. Travel: 15% of the time
