Job Description

Job Title: Team Leader Wiring Harness Design Provide technical knowledge and guidance to associate design engineers. Develop and deploy processes, methods, and dedicated tooling to the design team and projects. Assist the Head of Series Development Front- or Back Office with strategy, planning, capacity, training, cost, and budget management; monitor results. Support relocation of engineering activities between Back Offices. Oversee the design of wiring systems/components for one or more projects. Coordinate overall product design of one or more compartments. Lead one or several design elements: 2-D / 3-D Harness/component routing Design Release Engineering Module split of 2D designs Module logistic code definition Resident Design Engineering Evaluation of customer systems Change Management Schematic Design Wire Dimensioning Ensure regular communication with customer engineers. Mandatory Tasks: Comply with all current relevant legal and internal defined standards, safety, and environmental regulations. Report risks and opportunities to direct superiors in the context of responsibilities. Contribute to customer satisfaction. Contribute to Company financial targets and results. Ensure deadlines are met. Fulfill quality requirements. Use company materials and resources efficiently. Maintain order and cleanliness in work areas. Education: Graduate/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering. Experience: 7-8 years of experience in the Automotive, Engine, or Genset industries.
