Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Consultant/Team Leader to lead our Australian Senior Consultant Medical Recruitment team based in India. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of headhunting and recruiting senior medical professionals from the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia for permanent positions in Australian hospitals. You will have a strong network of senior contacts within the Australian, UK, Ireland healthcare industry and a deep understanding of the Australian hospital system. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of recruitment consultants focused on senior permanent medical recruitment for the Australian market Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract and place senior medical professionals in permanent positions with Australian hospitals Utilise headhunting techniques, including search and selection, to identify and approach top medical talent from the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia Build and maintain a strong network of senior contacts within the Australian healthcare industry, including hospital administrators, medical directors, and other key decision-makers Conduct thorough interviews with candidates to assess their skills, experience, and fit for client requirements Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on recruitment strategies, market trends, and best practices in healthcare recruitment Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial client briefing to candidate placement and onboarding Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly recruitment targets, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer service for yourself ad your team Collaborate with other teams, including marketing and sales, to promote our services and build our brand in the Australian market Requirements: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in senior permanent medical recruitment, with a focus on the Australian market Proven track record of success in headhunting and recruiting senior medical professionals from the UK, Ireland, New Zealand, and Australia Strong network of senior contacts within the Australian healthcare industry, including hospital administrators, medical directors, and other key decision-makers Deep understanding of the Australian hospital system, including hospital structures, medical specialties, and healthcare regulations Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and prioritise multiple tasks and projects Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in leading and managing a team of recruitment consultants Experience with recruitment software and databases, including CRM systems and job boards Nice to Have: Experience working with Australian hospital systems, including public and private hospitals Knowledge of Australian healthcare regulations, including AHPRA and medical registration requirements Familiarity with medical recruitment software and systems What We Offer: Competitive salary and bonus structure Opportunity to lead and manage a team of recruitment consultants Collaborative and dynamic work environment Professional development and training opportunities Recognition and reward for outstanding performance If you are a motivated and experienced senior recruitment consultant with a passion for headhunting and recruiting senior medical professionals, we would love to hear from you!
