Support adoption and implementation of newer technology through their valuable technical knowledge or practical experienceKey Accountabilities: Expertise in Material Science/ LAN Cable/Fiber Optic Cable/ConnectivityB.Tech/M.Tech with8-12 years experiencePreferred Experience and Qualification: Support translation of customer pain points and expectations into technical requirements and prepares plans to address them appropriately Work with the sales and pre-sales team to showcase the organizational capabilities in technology Provide recommendations/ suggestions to seamlessly deliver application engineering solutions in Sterlite Tech to increase effectiveness and efficiency of solutions Support the Technology Unit Head to visualize and implement new technology Identify and report technical roadblocks in implementation or adoption Stays abreast of the latest technological advances in his own field/sphere and initiates plans to implement the same at Sterlite Responsible for propagating a culture of good manufacturing practices, driving values of Sterlite along with continuous improvement Responsible for mentoring and coaching the reporting staff and other employees Platform QA Engineer [ PUNE ] : 6 to 8 years Perform design and analysis for deliverables. Lead large project design sessions for system-level architecture solutions. Lead planning and execution of quality validation, automation, and release sign-offs Design, build, and contribute to automation tools that simulate end-user scenarios for QE validations Work closely with multiple teams across geographies for continuous improvements, innovate and own initiatives, and ensure those are adopted and rolled out successfully. Work closely with engineering, operations, and partner teams to understand the functionality and define & develop test strategies for business use cases. Conduct code reviews, manage automation code quality, and guide teams for improvements and adherence to best practices. Reliably ship coupa cloud platform feature (compute, network, and storage) releases across cloud environments supporting hosted apps and services. Develop test strategies, and create and execute test plans both manually and via automation for ongoing releases. Code and automate application test cases for cloud platforms. Requirements MS/BS in Computer Science or equivalent At least 6 years of experience in Product development and quality function including design and development tasks along with Code review/bug analysis / Testing. 3 years of CI/CD experience using Jenkins or equivalent. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, OS, and networking concepts. Strong understanding of Core cloud computing concepts - Compute, networking, and Storage, and SAAS products. Experience architecting, building, and maintaining test automation framework for the unit, API, UI, and integration testing Solid knowledge of test architectural principles, concepts, and applications across platforms, cloud-based technologies AWS, Azure or Google Cloud, Kubernetes Experience in administration of Linux machines, web servers, application servers, and databases Hands-on in writing clean code experience in automation testing using scripting languages like Python, Ruby, Perl, Java, C# or PowerShell Experience with working in agile scrums, object-oriented programming, and product testing in an enterprise environment Excellent written and verbal communication, people, and collaboration skills
