Job Description:-- Experience: 10+ years of experience in WMS implementations and must possess 5 years of Blue Yonder / Red Prairie WMS implementations, of which at least 1 project should be BY WMS on the SaaS model. Job Type: Full-time About the Role: Skilled and experienced Technical Architect to provide technical leadership and guidance for our Blue Yonder WMS implementations and other technology initiatives. Responsible for defining the technical architecture, ensuring the scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of our solutions. You will collaborate closely with solution architects, development teams, and infrastructure teams to deliver robust and high-quality technical solutions. Responsibilities: Define and document the overall technical architecture for Blue Yonder WMS solutions and related integrations. Ensure that the architecture aligns with business requirements, scalability needs, security policies, and performance goals. Provide technical guidance and oversight to the development teams during the implementation process. Design and implement integration strategies between Blue Yonder WMS and other enterprise systems. Define standards and best practices for development, configuration, testing, and deployment. Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies, tools, and frameworks. Address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions. Ensure the security and data integrity of the implemented solutions. Optimize system performance and troubleshoot technical issues. Collaborate with infrastructure teams to ensure the environment supports the application requirements. Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to architectural standards. Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to our technology landscape. Contribute to the development of technical documentation and knowledge base. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. Strong understanding of architectural patterns, principles, and best practices. Experience in Warehouse Automation & Material Handling Systems is must. Experience with integration technologies and methodologies (e.g., APIs, socket web services, message queues). Experience with Blue Yonder WMS technical components, including MOCA, Integrator, Page Builder, and reporting tools (e.g., Jasper Reports, Nice Label) is highly preferred. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting, Perl) is a plus. Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python). Experience with database systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and data modelling. Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP) and their services is a plus. Understanding of security principles and best practices for enterprise applications. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus Experience with performance tuning and optimisation.
