Role Description: As a Technical Interviewer Intern at Newton School of Technology, you will interview potential candidates for our programs. This internship is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in technical assessments and talent evaluation while contributing to shaping the future of tech talent. Responsibilities: Conduct technical and behavioral interviews for candidates applying to the program. Evaluate candidates proficiency in coding, problem-solving, mathematics, and core technical skills based on predefined assessment criteria. Provide structured and constructive feedback to support the admissions team in reviewing candidates applications. Assist the admissions team by scheduling interviews, maintaining accurate candidate records, and ensuring a smooth evaluation process. Learn and apply best practices in interviewing, candidate assessment, and unbiased evaluation methods. Collaborate with mentors and subject matter experts to continuously refine the interview process and uphold fairness and consistency in assessments. Requirements: Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field from a Tier-1 Engineering College. Solid foundation in Mathematics, including key concepts in discrete math, linear algebra, probability, and statistics. Basic knowledge of Coding, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Problem-Solving Techniques. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with candidates and team members. Keen interest in learning about interview processes, talent evaluation, and technical assessment best practices. Proactive attitude, high attention to detail, and adaptability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Familiarity with online coding platforms (e.g., HackerRank, LeetCode) and virtual interviewing tools is a plus.
