Job Title: Technical Lead - Embedded Systems (Classic AUTOSAR) Location: [Pune] Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead in Embedded Systems with a deep understanding of Classic AUTOSAR. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in embedded systems, particularly with microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors (MPUs) and will be proficient in C programming. As a Technical Lead, you will guide and oversee the development and integration of embedded middleware, ensuring the reliability and performance of our automotive systems. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded software for automotive applications using Classic AUTOSAR standards. - Oversee the implementation and integration of AUTOSAR components and middleware on MCUs and MPUs. - Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of embedded software engineers. - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, system architects, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and operation. - Ensure that all software development complies with automotive industry standards and safety regulations. - Conduct and oversee code reviews, providing constructive feedback and guidance. - Participate in system-level design and architecture discussions, bringing your expertise to bear on critical decisions. - Lead hardware-software integration and validation testing processes. - Maintain detailed and comprehensive documentation for software design, development, and testing processes. Qualifications: - Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. - Extensive experience in embedded systems development, with a focus on the automotive industry. - Strong proficiency in C programming language. - In-depth knowledge of Classic AUTOSAR standards and architecture. - Proven experience with microcontrollers (MCUs) and microprocessors (MPUs). - Expertise in embedded middleware and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.). - Understanding of real-time operating systems (RTOS) and their application in embedded systems. - Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git). - Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Skills - Experience with model-based development tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink). - Knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262). - Familiarity with agile development methodologies. - Hands-on experience with software development tools and environments (e.g., IAR, Keil, Vector tools). - Previous experience in a technical leadership or team lead role.
