Technical Sales Engineer – Automotive & Academic Solutions Location: Flexible/Remote (anywhere in India) About Nebula Platform: Nebula Platform is a cutting-edge, deterministic software platform engineered for high-performance and safe application development. With a focus on real-time execution, robust data logging, and stringent safety standards (including ISO 26262 & ASIL D), Nebula is at the forefront of transforming automotive software and engineering education. Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Sales Engineer to drive the adoption of the Nebula Platform and our automotive solutions across technical institutions, Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers, and Automotive Companies (OEMs). In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise and sales acumen to establish and nurture relationships, deliver compelling presentations, and secure strategic partnerships that enhance our market presence in both the academic and automotive sectors. Key Responsibilities:Sales & Business Development:Identify and qualify leads across universities, Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive suppliers, and automotive companies.Develop tailored sales strategies to demonstrate the technical and business value of the Nebula Platform.Drive the full sales cycle from prospecting and initial contact to negotiation and closing deals.Technical Presentations & Demos:Deliver in-depth technical presentations and live demonstrations of the Nebula Platform’s capabilities (deterministic execution, API integrations, real-time diagnostics, etc.).Showcase how our platform’s advanced features—such as zero-copy communication, secure messaging, and multi-language API bindings—translate into enhanced product development and operational efficiency.Market Education & Customer Engagement:Educate prospective clients on the benefits of adopting a deterministic, safe, and industry-compliant software solution.Work closely with internal engineering and product teams to stay up-to-date on technical advancements and incorporate customer feedback into product roadmaps.Strategic Partnerships & Collaboration:Establish long-term relationships with key stakeholders in academic institutions and automotive industries.Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to develop case studies, technical whitepapers, and demo materials that resonate with target markets.Reporting & Forecasting:Maintain accurate records of sales activities and opportunities within the CRM system.Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to help shape strategic direction. Qualifications:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.Proven experience in technical sales or business development, preferably within the automotive or embedded systems sectors.Strong understanding of real-time, deterministic software platforms and familiarity with safety-critical standards (ISO 26262, ASIL D).Demonstrated ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including academic professionals and industry executives.Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.Experience with API integrations and multi-language environments (e.g., C, C++, Python, ROS2) is highly desirable.Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
