Job Title: Technical SEO Specialist Company: Sportstech Location: Bangalore Experience: 3+ years Job Description: Sportstech is looking for a Technical SEO Specialist to enhance the visibility and performance of our online shops. Responsibilities: Designing and optimizing the technical foundation for the success of the Sportstech online shops Implementing innovative SEO solutions in close collaboration with the shop team, web development, and digital marketing to ensure maximum visibility and excellent performance of our product pages Managing technical requirements in collaboration with development, analytics, and stakeholder teams, including defining and implementing optimization measures Conducting technical SEO audits to identify and prioritize optimization potential for crawling, indexing, and website performance Overseeing implementation to improve page experience (Core Web Vitals), indexing, and crawling processes, as well as creating technical guidelines for process optimization Increasing search engine visibility, improving user experience, and boosting conversion rates Ensuring quality through technical approvals, testing, and monitoring Utilizing data-driven SEO strategies through automated and AI-powered analyses and insights to optimize technical SEO performance Creating regular reports to monitor organic metrics, technical KPIs, and derive well-founded recommendations for action Qualifications: University degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Media, Communication, (Business) Informatics, or a comparable qualification At least 3+ years of professional experience in a technical SEO role with proven success Practical experience with common CMS and e-commerce systems and their technical optimization possibilities Solid knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python) for SEO applications (e.g., markup, JavaScript SEO, rendering) Deep understanding of technical SEO concepts such as crawling, indexing, and performance optimization Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approacharch Console, Screaming Frog, Sistrix, as well as tools and APIs for data analysis Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach Ability to communicate complex technical issues in an understandable way Experience working with developers and interdisciplinary teams Independent, solution-oriented, and structured way of working Excellent English skills (knowledge of German is an advantage)
