This role involves a range of responsibilities, including troubleshooting technical issues, maintaining systems and equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of technical functions within the organization. Key Responsibilities : Technical Support : Provide technical support to internal teams, customers, or end-users. Diagnose and resolve technical issues, both hardware and software-related. Offer guidance and assistance on technical matters. Maintenance and Upkeep : Maintain and update technical systems, equipment, and infrastructure. Conduct routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades as needed. Ensure the availability and reliability of technical resources. Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, including manuals, guides, and procedures. Document technical configurations, changes, and troubleshooting steps. Training and Education : Deliver technical training to employees or end-users to enhance their technical skills. Keep abreast of industry trends and share knowledge within the organization. System Integration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize technical systems and solutions. Ensure seamless operation and compatibility of technical components. Security and Compliance : Implement security measures and protocols to protect technical assets and data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Inventory and Resource Management : Manage inventory of technical assets, including hardware, software, and components. Monitor resource utilization and make recommendations for procurement or retirement. Troubleshooting and Problem Solving : Identify and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner. Investigate root causes of technical problems and implement preventive measures. Vendor and Supplier Interaction : Liaise with vendors and suppliers for technical support, procurement, and service agreements. Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts as needed.
