Job Description

Role & responsibilities 1. Scripting and Automation: Develop and maintain scripts using Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby, and Groovy for automation tasks. Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and AWS CloudFormation. 2. Cloud Infrastructure Management: Design, deploy, and manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation. • Ensure the scalability, performance, and reliability of cloud infrastructure. 3. Configuration Management: Utilize server configuration management tools like Salt, Puppet, Ansible, and Chef to automate system configurations. Maintain and troubleshoot Linux-based environments. 4. CI/CD Pipeline Development: Build and manage service delivery pipelines using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CodePipeline. Ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications. 5. System Security and Best Practices: Implement best practices for system security and ensure compliance with security standards. Monitor and manage system performance using tools like AWS CloudWatch and Datadog. 6. Networking and Virtualization: Configure and manage virtualized environments and containerization technologies. Maintain solid networking knowledge, including OSI network layers and TCP/IP protocols. 7. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with product engineers to develop tools and services that enhance productivity. Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals. 8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
