TECHNICIAN - F.D.A.S. Education Diploma in related field Operational Experience Minimum of 5 years hands on maintenance experience in related field Training certifications in UPS , STS and battery systems. Extensive experience in installation , T&C and troubleshooting of UPS and STS systems and Rectifiers. A. General Information Title Senior Technician - Low Voltage / U.P.S. Job Family / Service Electrical Department Maintenance Count Reporting To Foreman Electrical Low voltage Job Code (Assigned by HR B. Role Purpose: Performs skilled Electrical operation and maintenance tasks C. Key Accountabilities: - Performs skilled Electrical planned and reactive maintenance tasks. - Performs Electrical Routine maintenance tasks. - Performs troubleshooting and Repairs. - Participates in advanced tasks under supervision. - Performs miscellaneous job related duties as assigned. - Responds and able to handle to client complaints / requests. - Attends and participates in commissioning of new Electrical installations. - Leads up to four subordinate(s). - Able to maintain and troubleshoot Liebert STS , SOCOMEC , GUTOR and Benning UPS systems and rectifiers, - Knowledge of UPS parallel redundant operation. - Ability to check UPS parameters & retrieve event history from UPS for analysis. - To follow the work permit procedure and get certified as receiver - Undertake any other duties or assignment as required from time to time by the management within reason.
