Aster Medcity is looking for Technician - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey. Patient Assistance : Assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises, mobility activities, and functional tasks as prescribed by physical therapists, occupational therapists, or rehabilitation specialists. Modalities and Equipment : Operate and set up therapeutic modalities and equipment, such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, heat/cold therapy, traction, and assistive devices. Patient Preparation : Prepare patients for treatments and interventions, ensuring proper positioning, safety, and comfort during sessions. Transfer and Mobility : Assist patients in transfers, positioning, and mobility exercises to promote physical independence and functional improvement. Gait Training : Support patients in learning and practicing proper walking and gait patterns, utilizing assistive devices if necessary. Range of Motion (ROM) : Administer and monitor passive and active range of motion exercises to prevent joint stiffness and improve flexibility.
