Technician - Wiring / Cable Harness Manufacturing

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Assemble cable harnesses according to design specifications using various tools such as crimpers, cutters, strippers, etc. Conduct quality control checks on assembled cable harnesses to ensure compliance with industry standards. Operate wire stripping machines to prepare wires for termination. Perform soldering operations for connectors and other components. Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines. Desired Candidate Profile 1-4 years of experience in wiring or cable harness manufacturing (assembly, crimping, soldering). ITI certification or diploma in any specialization. Strong understanding of IPC-620 guidelines for wire harness assembly. Proficiency in working with various types of cables, connectors, and terminations. Hands on experience: Crimping, cup soldering, splicing, solder sleeve application, adhesive application, transition/booting, braid termination, metal banding, torque tightening, back shell installation, temp. sensitive cable/components handling, retention test for contacts, etc.
