Job Description

Information Security Responsibilities Promote and enforce awareness of key information security practices, including acceptable use of information assets, malware protection, and password security protocols Identify, assess, and report security risks, focusing on how these risks impact the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets Understand and evaluate how data is stored, processed, or transmitted, ensuring compliance with data privacy and protection standards (GDPR, CCPA, etc) Ensure data protection measures are integrated throughout the information lifecycle to safeguard sensitive information Roles and Responsibilities Demonstrate a strong understanding of foundational technology concepts, including but not limited to software development, system architecture, cloud platforms, integrationsand database management. Work on multiple platforms, with a focus on integrating different systems and ensuring cross-platform compatibility. Contribute to the design of scalable, secure, and efficient solutions, collaborating with senior engineers and architects. Write clean, maintainable code and assist in the development of software applications across various platforms. Troubleshoot technical issues and offer creative solutions to complex challenges in a timely manner. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and business stakeholders, to ensure technology solutions align with business needs. Actively participate in knowledge sharing sessions and assist in mentoring junior team members as you grow into the architect role. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying new knowledge to improve processes and systems. Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Educational Background: A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Core Technical Skills: Strong foundation in programming languages (eg, Java, Python, JavaScript, etc) that include front and back end development Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Understandingof database management and design (SQL, NoSQL, etc). Understanding of system architecture, integration and design principles. Knowledge of best practices in design and development Experience Previous experience working across multiple technology platforms. Proven track record in software development, system integration, and deployment. Experience with agile methodologies, version control (eg, Git)and in working in environments following good DevOps principles. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
