Qualification and Experience: Bachelors degree in engineering / Diploma in Engineering. 3 to 6 Years Experience in the use of Tekla Structures in an integrated environment across E P & C applications. Strong Tekla system and administration knowledge, including development and updating of all Tekla settings, templates, reports, and processes. Tekla Power Fab knowledge will be added advantage Type Of job: Contractual Duration- Minimum 12 Months & extendable as per project Working Pattern: 6 days working/ 10 hours duty PF: Applicable Food & Accommodation & Local Travelling : Candidate's Scope Job Purpose: The application specialist for TEKLA Structures is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the TEKLA software environment within the organization. He is responsible for ensuring appropriate coordination among various parties involved like detailing vendor, EPCM and the owner organization. He is responsible for detailing requirements, functional design, custom symbology development and technical support within the Tekla Structure application. This role plays a critical part in ensuring that our engineering and construction teams can effectively utilize TEKLA for structural modeling and detailing tasks. Accountabilities: This role is responsible for: Expert use of Tekla Structures in a structural steelwork fabrication setting. Steel Structure and RCC structure 3D-Modelling, Detailing, Checking & Planning Fabrication Drawings in Tekla Structure Modeling of miscellaneous items like connection details, Member modeling, stair/stinger, ladder, handrail, wall-rail, etc. Detailing fabrication and general arrangement (GA) drawings. Generating reports from models. Importing and exporting models to other BIM software. Performing clash checks on Tekla models. Numbering assembly drawings. Editing templates. Utilizing Trimble Connect. Ensuring compliance with industry codes, standards, and departmental procedures. Maintaining data accuracy and completeness, adhering to industry standards. Taking full responsibility for all work, ensuring self-checking before submission. Conducting quality checks on application data and overseeing overall data integrity. Communicating with software vendors for issue resolution. Creating reports and dashboards to provide project insights. Performing any other required duties.
