Job Description of INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE - MUMBAI 1. Industry/ Organization Type: Logistics / Freight Forwarding 2. Working Location: Mumbai 3. Duration: Permanent Role 4. Female candidates only Responsibilities : Customer Engagement: • Initiate and maintain regular communication with potential customers through phone calls, emails, and other digital channels. • Understand customer shipping needs and provide relevant information about freight forwarding services. • Negotiate rates with customers and collaborate with the pricing team to ensure profitability. Relationship Building: • Build and nurture strong relationships with clients to understand their business requirements and foster long-term partnerships. • Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional freight and logistics services. Product Knowledge: • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, shipping regulations, and the company's service offerings. • Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the company's freight forwarding solutions to customers. Sales Presentations: • Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients, showcasing the company's capabilities and value proposition. CRM Utilization: • Utilize CRM tools to manage customer interactions, update customer profiles, and track sales activities. • Generate reports on sales performance and customer engagement for management review. Market Research: • Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and changes in the freight forwarding industry. • Provide feedback to the management team on market dynamics and potential business opportunities. Problem Resolution: • Address and resolve customer issues promptly, collaborating with relevant departments to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Qualifications : • Bachelor's degree in Business, Logistics, or related field (preferred). • Proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. • Must Have Good Communication Skills • Strong understanding of international shipping and logistics processes. • Excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Familiarity with CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. • Results-driven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
