Job Opening for Tendering and Estimation Manager at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, Kolkata. Experience Minimum 10 to 20 years in Metal & Mining industry. Interested can share their resume on amit.sarkar@kalptaruprojects.com Area of Responsibilities : - Preparation of technical and commercial bids for mining, mineral processing, and metal production projects (e.g., beneficiation plants, smelters, material handling systems etc). Review tender documents (RFQs, RFPs, BOQs, ITBs) and identify key requirements, scope of work, and bid evaluation criteria. Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, procurement, planning, legal, finance) to gather inputs for accurate and competitive costing. Develop detailed cost estimates covering materials, equipment, manpower, subcontractors, logistics, and contingencies. Analyze historical data, current market trends, and vendor quotations to optimize pricing strategies. Identify technical and commercial risks, propose mitigation plans, and conduct risk analysis for each tender. Collaborate with clients and consultants for clarifications and attend pre-bid meetings/site visits. Prepare bid documents, pricing sheets, compliance matrix, and presentation for review to senior management as well as client submission. Ensure all bids are submitted on time, in compliance with technical, financial, and legal requirements. Maintain a repository of historical bids, unit rates, and lessons learned to improve future submissions.
