Job Description

Role & responsibilities: Evaluate tender documents, including technical specifications, BOQs, contract conditions, and risk factors. Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents, expressions of interest (EOIs), and technical-commercial proposals. Ensure compliance with government and international bidding regulations (e.g., FIDIC, World Bank, ADB). Conduct cost analysis, rate estimation, and resource planning for hydropower and irrigation projects. Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and finance teams to finalize competitive bid pricing. Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance. Review contract terms and conditions, ensuring adherence to local and international legal frameworks. Manage contract negotiations, clarifications, and amendments as required. Ensure compliance with taxation, customs, and import-export laws affecting project execution. Lead the preparation and timely submission of tenders with all required documentation. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of technical and financial bid documents. Maintain records of submitted tenders, follow up on evaluations, and track outcomes. Preferred Candidates: Education Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. - Civil Work Experience: 5 - 12 Years of experience in tendering, bidding, and contracts in hydropower and irrigation projects. Key Skills & Expertise: Expertise in preparing, submitting, and negotiating tenders for hydropower and irrigation projects. Experience in government e-tendering portals and bid submission. Soft Skills & Competencies: Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously. Team leadership and collaboration skills.
