Territory Manager (Front Line Position)

Job Description

Job Objective Operational Lead a network of MSs and DRs to achieve the territories sales targets, via engagement with Wholesalers, Distributors, and Retailers Plan and assess resource requirements for the territory, deploying teams to achieve high coverage Conduct weekly reviews and arrive at an agreed action plan with the Circle Manger to meet business deliverable Conduct weekly evaluation with the Distributors and ensure proper infrastructure and investment and discuss plans for the sales growth Collect and report market intelligence on time Strategic Should be able to create a business plan for his territory keeping in mind the nuances of the territory along with linkages with S&P KPIs Assist the Circle Manager in running/monitoring various initiatives in his territory Role & Responsibility Lead strategic planning, optimize resource allocation, manage channel partners, and drive effective team communication. This role includes regular retailer / wholesaler / distributor visits, conducting training sessions for field sales teams, and daily reporting to enhance the overall success of the sales strategy Reports to: Circle Manager Supervisory Responsibilities: Market Supervisor and Distributor Representatives Span of Control: 6 8 MSs Required Skills Strong leadership and team management skills Proficient in data collection, analysis, & reporting Good negotiation skills Education and Experience MBA from any reputed University Min 2 years of consumer goods sales experience in FMCG (preferred)
