The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automation testing using tools like Testim and demonstrate strong leadership abilities to drive testing excellence within the team. Roles and Responsibilities 1. Leadership and Strategy Lead the QA team in developing, executing, and managing comprehensive test packs aligned with project requirements. Gain in-depth knowledge of key applications and oversee independent QA execution while serving as the go-to resource for all testing-related decisions. Guide the team in prioritizing testing efforts based on backlog reviews and overall project objectives. 2. Quality Assurance Conduct thorough test reviews prior to production releases, ensuring adherence to quality standards and proactively identifying potential risks. Take ownership of the regression test suite, updating it to reflect critical functionalities and ensuring coverage of all major workflows. Conduct code and quality reviews to ensure team adherence to coding standards and best practices. 3. Automation and Optimization Expand automated testing coverage, focusing on critical workflows to ensure comprehensive validation. Implement automation solutions to optimize testing efficiency, ensuring faster and more reliable execution without compromising quality. Develop, execute, and maintain automation scripts using Testim, ensuring robust and scalable test automation. 4. Collaboration and Coordination • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and DevOps teams to ensure timely resolution of defects and seamless completion of testing cycles. • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to continuous improvement processes. 5. Monitoring and Reporting Track daily testing progress, providing regular updates to stakeholders and addressing roadblocks to stay aligned with project timelines. Provide detailed test reports, results, and defect metrics to key stakeholders. Required Skills and Qualifications 1. Technical Skills Strong hands-on expertise in Testim or equivalent automation tools. Proficient in JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts. Expertise in SQL for backend testing and API testing. Experience with test management tools like Azure DevOps to manage test cases and workflows. 2. Domain Expertise Solid understanding of Financial Services, Investment, or Asset Management domains. 3. Soft Skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage with cross functional teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving abilities and self-motivated to drive quality assurance initiatives. 4. Experience 12+ years of QA/Software Testing experience, with significant exposure to automation and leadership roles.
