Job Title: Textile Engineer/Supervisor (Production Department) Job Overview: The Textile Engineer will be responsible for managing and improving textile production processes, ensuring products meet quality standards, and maximizing efficiency in manufacturing operations. The role requires a strong understanding of textile technology, process optimization, and machine maintenance. Key Responsibilities: Process Optimization: Monitor and optimize the textile Yarn production process for efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Analyze production data to identify opportunities for process improvement. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices to reduce waste and increase productivity. Quality Control: Ensure that the final textile products meet industry standards and customer specifications. Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials and finished goods. Investigate and resolve any quality issues or defects in the production process. Machine Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Oversee the proper maintenance and repair of textile machines. Collaborate with the maintenance team to prevent equipment breakdowns. Troubleshoot technical problems related to production machinery and equipment. Material Management: Monitor the usage of materials and ensure minimal wastage. Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and product delivery. Provide training to operators and staff on new processes, machinery, and safety protocols. Data Analysis & Reporting: Track production metrics such as yield, downtime, and production efficiency. Prepare reports for upper management, highlighting issues and suggesting improvements. Health, Safety & Compliance: Ensure all safety protocols and regulatory requirements are followed. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for production teams. Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors or diploma degree in Textile Engineering, Textile Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in textile production or manufacturing, preferably in a similar role. Strong knowledge of textile production machinery, processes, and materials. Proficiency in data analysis, production planning, and project management. Familiarity with quality control techniques and industry standards (ISO, etc.). Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Preferred: Experience with textile production systems.
