Job Description

Position- Third Party Inspection Engineer TPI PAN India Location: Kanpur, Lucknow, Rae Bareli, Sonipat, Gurugram & Palwal Salary: Good Hike from current salary. Immediate joiners preferred. Qualifications: Machinery | Automobile | Chemical Engineering | Mechanical Engineering | Production | Manufacturing | Tool & Die | Metallurgy * B.E | B. Tech: - Mechanical with 3 Years of Experience. * Diploma: - Mechanical with 5 years of experience. Certification Requirements: Any one of the following: - ASNT | AWS | ASME | API | NACE Preferably Find: Metallurgy, Chemical, Tool & Die Making and Production Engineers. Key Skills: - 1. Understanding of Quality Plans, ITP Test Plans, Sampling Plans, Check list etc. 2. Witness and reviews of functional tests, Hydrotest, Pneumatic Test, other relevant tests related to mechanical equipment or components as required by ITP. 3. Ability to identify and classify defects in welding, casting, machining and coating. 4. Ensure measurement tools and instruments and suitable, traceable and calibrated as per standard. 5. Preparing clear, concise and detailed inspection reports. 6. Checking MTRs, WPS, PQR and MTC, internal reports, GC and TC and only other third party test reports. 7. Identifying deviations and issuing rejection advice. 8. Providing unbiased third-party evaluation. 9. Spotting defects and inconsistencies in materials, welding and assembly. 10. Evaluating test results and making informed deviations. 11. Effective communication skills, Problem solving and time management. 12. Strong understanding of Mechanical components, materials and manufacturing processes. 13. Familiarity with NDT methods (RT, UT, PT, MT, VT) for defect detections. 14. Knowledge of welding process, procedure and acceptance criteria (ASME, AWS, API Codes). 15. Ability to assess material properties, Mill test certificate (MTC), and compliance with standards. 16. Understanding of ASME, API and ISO code for pressure equipment. 17. Knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbine, boilers, heat exchangers etc. 18. Familiarity with Industry standards and codes like ASME (BPVC, B31.3), API(510, 570, 635, 650), AWS (D1.1, D9.5), ASTM, DIN, EN Standards.
