Plan, execute, and manage all resources for the quality function to ensure timely product delivery that meets customer expectations. Understand and define risk inventory, create strategies to mitigate risks, and raise awareness among stakeholders about risks involved. Prepare annual budgets in coordination with the VP Supply Chain for all quality activities; monitor and review expenses against budgets periodically Manage market complaints database and conduct root-cause analysis to develop corrective and preventive actions. Ensure periodic calibration of lab equipment and improve testing efficiency through automation when required. Set quality standards for QA functions, monitor quality parameters, and ensure timely availability of test results to stakeholders. Develop and implement SOPs, ensuring accuracy of test results and quality of seed evaluations. Establish a clean and safe working environment in the seed testing lab as per specific procedures. Track reports on time and communicate status to the team during peak seasons. Identify training needs for the team and set higher standards in quality.
