Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic fresher to join our Payroll team. As a Payroll Associate, you will assist in processing payroll accurately and on time, maintaining employee records, and ensuring compliance with company policies and statutory regulations. Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll for employees Maintain and update employee payroll records in the system Help verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments Support the calculation of statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.) Address payroll-related queries from employees professionally Coordinate with HR and Finance teams for data accuracy Help generate pay slips, salary reports, and tax-related documents Ensure adherence to payroll policies, procedures, and timelines Requirements: Masters in Human Resources Strong numerical and analytical skills Basic understanding of payroll concepts and statutory compliance (preferred but not mandatory) Proficiency in MS Excel (e.g., VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) Excellent attention to detail and time management skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Willingness to learn and grow in the field of payroll
