Job description: We are looking for Coding Freshers who have nursing background to join our team and assist with medical coding processes in compliance with US healthcare standards. This is an excellent opportunity for recent nursing graduates or professionals looking to transition into the medical coding field. You will work closely with experienced coders and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely coding of patient records and insurance claims. Key Responsibilities: Review medical records and translate them into standardized codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. Collaborate with healthcare providers to obtain accurate information for coding purposes. Ensure all codes are compliant with healthcare regulations and insurance requirements. Assist in maintaining accurate documentation and coding practices to meet healthcare standards. Communicate with the coding and billing departments to resolve discrepancies or issues. Stay updated with changes in medical coding practices and healthcare regulations. Requirements: Educational Background: Nursing degree (RN, LPN, or related nursing qualifications). Certification (Preferred, but not required): Certification in Medical Coding (e.g., CPC, CCS) or willingness to pursue certification after employment. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy. Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in coding tasks. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and team members.
