Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and analyse transportation models, providing valuable insights for infrastructure planning and optimization. Handle transport planning projects and apply knowledge and experience to road, rail, metro and urban development projects. Analyze and interpret data to identify patterns and trends in transportation systems. Develop traffic flow models, demand forecasts, and scenario analyses. Incorporate data from various sources such as traffic counts, surveys, and GIS into the model. Provide recommendations based on simulation results to guide decision-making. Prepare detailed reports and presentations on modelling results and findings. Document methodologies, assumptions, and limitations of models for transparency and future reference. Handling projects independently and successfully from start to completion within budget and time Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and coordinate with architects, engineers, environment & financial experts, etc. Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and presentations to clients and regulatory agencies. Work on BD and proposals to support the growth of the mobility business JOB SPECIFICATIONS: 1. Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering/ Architecture; and Master’s in Transportation Planning 2. Experience 10+ years of experience in transportation planning and traffic engineering A proven track record of working on complex, large scale infrastructure projects Experience of managing major clients and government authorities 4 stage modelling proficiency Knowledge of GIS and micro-simulation modelling tools. 3. Abilities & skills : Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of programs Ability to manage time and work to strict deadlines. Good interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Ability to supervise the work of junior staff and sub-consultants. Ability to work collaboratively. Able to participate in and contribute to project-related discussions.
