Vendor ManagementDevelop and maintain productive relationships with vendors, evaluating performance and compliance with company standardsOversee vendor quality assessments and ensure timely delivery of materials4. Role & responsibilities Export Documentation & Compliance: Prepare and manage export-related documents, including invoices, packing lists, shipping bills, and customs declarations. Ensure compliance with international trade laws and company policies. • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping companies, and other logistics providers to arrange transportation of goods. Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of shipments. • Internal Coordination: Work closely with sales, production, and finance departments to ensure smooth export operations and timely order fulfillment. • Customs Clearance & Regulatory Compliance: Handle import and export customs clearance procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, tariffs, and duties. Liaise with customs brokers and regulatory authorities as needed. • Vendor & Supplier Management: Communicate with international suppliers, vendors, and customers for import/export-related requirements. Negotiate freight rates and service agreements with logistics providers. • Trade Compliance & Documentation: Stay updated with changes in international trade policies, import/export regulations, and documentation requirements to avoid compliance risks. • Shipment Tracking & Reporting: Monitor shipments, track delivery schedules, and resolve any logistical issues that may arise. Maintain records of all transactions for audit and reporting purposes. • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improving logistics efficiency, cost reduction, and process optimization within the import/export operations.
