Job Description

Candidate will be the focal point with end to end responsibility for Flying UAVs and meeting the service requirement from customer (both internal & External). The candidate will have to build an effective Flight operation team, Systems and Procedures to fly and maintain UAV assets of L&T both at Flight Operation location and at Factory premises. Following are the expectations. Prior experience in building effective team for Flight Operation and Maintenance and developing the skill sets to benchmarked levels.Hands on experience in GCS piloting of fixed wing UAVs and handling of ground control stations and Ground support system.Good knowledge in UAV mission planning by knowing the capability of the system.Understanding the customer mission requirement and arriving optimal mission plan and execution.Prior experience in Interfacing with Customer, ATC, DGACA, MOD and any other regulatory departments for flying UAV with due clearances and permissions.Undertaking new flight configuration and new flight envelops as per Design teams need.Effective utilisation of Ground crew and ground support system to complete the mission first time right and On-Time delivery of service Coordination and collaboration with Production team for On-time delivery of Aerial assets for planned service mission.Planning and execution of service contracts for external customer / service flights for internal customer in collaboration with Business unit.Maintaining the UAV and ground assets for the service missions in collaboration with relevant ecosystem.Training Customers and internal candidates for Flight operations and Maintenance.Supporting BU Marketing for Tech/commercial offer for service / training enquiries.Drone Pilot licence shall add value. Incase no ther should get with in 4 months from joining service.
