Key Responsibilities: Technical Duties: WebRTC Development: Design and enhance WebRTC-based solutions, leveraging APIs from platforms like Jitsi, Janus, and Zoom to deliver top-notch communication experiences. Media Server Management: Collaborate with media servers to optimize real-time audio and video streaming, ensuring the highest quality for users. Protocol Implementation: Work with key communication protocols such as SIP, VoIP, and RTC to ensure smooth, high-quality communication. Platform Integration: Integrate third-party UCaaS services like Twilio, Vonage, and Microsoft Teams, expanding platform functionality. Microservices Development: Develop and maintain microservices using Node.js for signaling, session management, and media control. Performance Optimization: Continuously optimize performance to minimize latency, improve call quality, and enhance bandwidth efficiency. Security Implementation: Implement secure communication through encryption and data protection protocols to ensure privacy and safety. Collaborative Duties: Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with frontend teams to seamlessly integrate WebRTC solutions across multiple platforms. Troubleshooting Support: Address and resolve communication issues quickly, especially under fluctuating network conditions. Required Qualifications: WebRTC Media Server Experience: At least 3 years of hands-on experience with WebRTC development and managing media servers. Backend Development: Strong expertise in Node.js and microservices architecture. Protocol Knowledge: Proficiency with protocols like SIP, VoIP, STUN/TURN, and ICE candidates. Real-Time Streaming: Experience with streaming protocols such as RTSP, RTP, HLS, and DASH. UCaaS Integration: Familiarity with platforms such as Twilio, Vonage, or Microsoft Teams. Cloud Infrastructure: Experience deploying applications in cloud environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure. Networking Optimization: Deep understanding of WebRTC optimization and NAT traversal techniques. Security Knowledge: Expertise in implementing secure communication protocols and data protection strategies. Preferred Skills: AI Integration: Experience with integrating AI technologies for noise cancellation, echo reduction, or speech analytics. Real-Time Messaging: Familiarity with real-time messaging and chat systems. Cloud Media Servers: Experience with deploying media servers in cloud environments. Event-Driven Architectures: Proficiency with technologies such as WebSockets or Socket.IO for event-driven communication.
