Role Responsibilities Conduct individual and group counseling sessions for clients. Assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans. Provide crisis intervention and support when necessary. Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to monitor progress. Maintain accurate and confidential client records. Facilitate workshops and seminars on mental health topics. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to improve client outcomes. Educate clients on coping strategies and life skills. Provide referrals to additional services or specialists as needed. Help clients develop self-awareness and personal growth. Participate in continuing education and professional development programs. Advocate for clients within the mental health system. Engage in community outreach to promote mental health awareness. Ensure compliance with all ethical standards and regulations. Contribute to team meetings and share insights on client care. Qualifications Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related field. Valid licensure as a counselor in India. Minimum 2 years of experience in a counseling environment. Strong understanding of mental health issues and treatment options. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients. Experience in crisis intervention and management. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Cultural competence and sensitivity. Exceptional organizational and time management skills. Knowledge of confidentiality standards and ethics. Proficiency in using counseling software and tools. Willingness to engage in community outreach initiatives. Openness to feedback and professional growth. Desire to work with diverse populations. Commitment to ongoing education and training.
