Role & responsibilitiesConduct thorough testing of inventory/finance module ERP software to identify defects, bugs, and performance issues.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and design comprehensive test cases.Perform end-to-end testing of inventory-related functionalities, including inventory tracking, order management, stock reconciliation, and reporting.Perform end-to-end testing of finance-related functionalities, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and transaction management.Design, develop, and execute both manual and automated test scripts to validate software functionality and performance.Document and report defects, issues, and test results using appropriate bug tracking tools and reporting mechanisms.Assist in the creation and maintenance of test environments, test data, and testing tools as necessary.Continuously improve testing processes, methodologies, and strategies to enhance overall product quality and testing efficiency.Collaborate with the development team to understand technical aspects of the software and provide valuable feedback during the development lifecycle.Participate in requirement analysis and design reviews to provide input from a testing perspective.Preferred candidate profileBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (B.Tech), or a related field.
