JOb Responsibilities: The Data Scientists will leverage expertise in advanced statistical and modelling techniques to design, prototype, and build the next-generation analytics engines and services. They will work closely with the analytics teams and business teams to derive actionable insights, helping the organization in achieving its’ strategic goals. Their work will involve high levels of interaction with the integrated analytics team, including data engineers, translators, and more senior data scientists. Has expertise in implementing complex statistical analyses for data processing, exploration, model building and implementation Lead teams of 2-3 associate data scientists in the use case building and delivery process Can communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience Plays a key role in driving ideation around the modelling process and developing models. Can conceptualize and drive re-iteration and fine tuning of models Contribute to knowledge building and sharing by researching best practices, documenting solutions, and continuously iterating on new ways to solve problems. Key responsibilities - Lead FP&A – India Lead the budgeting and forecasting process for India crop protection business in collaboration with business finance and marketing teams Lead preparation and presentation of various MIS for leadership and business teams Analytical review of business performance in comparison with budget and previous year by business, geography, product portfolio etc. and sharing actionable insights, driving margin and mix improvement agenda through close monitoring of prices/NRV and drive COGS improvement initiatives in collaboration with business, strategic marketing team and costing/SCM team Drive spends effectiveness and ROI monitoring of SG&A (Selling, General & Administrative). Assist with long-term strategic planning and financial modelling Drive book closure and reconciliation of management and books of accounts in coordination with business finance, commercial and corporate FP&A Leading the simplification and automation initiatives including opportunities in the areas of automation with help from IT and Global BS Industry / Competition benchmarking Work closely with corporate credit rating team on assessment of credit ratings for India business.Investor Relations: Lead preparation and review of investor presentations,regulatory filings and agreements. Develop and maintain relationships with investors and serve as the primary contact for inquiries and analyst meetings. Drive preparation of key financial metrics and performance summaries for investor meetings, monitor analyst reports, market trends.
