Role & responsibilities Team Leadership : Leading teams in various departments (Goods In, Selections, or Transport) to ensure efficient handling of stock from receipt to dispatch. Performance Management : Creating a motivating work environment focused on performance. This involves setting performance goals and actively engaging with staff to meet these standards. Operational Involvement : Actively participating in day-to-day operations, providing hands-on leadership to demonstrate commitment and knowledge of the processes. KPI Management : Developing and monitoring key performance indicators to track and improve operational efficiencies. IT System Management : Using multiple IT systems integral to logistics operations, ensuring processes are efficient and compliant with company standards. Quality Control : Conducting regular checks to maintain product quality, ensuring adherence to rotation and storage guidelines. Training Coordination : Organizing and overseeing on-the-job training to ensure staff development and proactive work habits. Schedule Management : Handling the planning of work schedules and managing annual leave to ensure continuous operations. High level of motivation and a clear focus on achieving and exceeding goals. Results-oriented approach, aiming for high performance and success, with an emphasis on being able to manage and inspire teams.
