Role & responsibilities - Managing patient waitlists Coordinating donor organs and potential recipients Ensuring quality care throughout the transplant process Providing support and education to patients, caregivers, and families Evaluating patients for transplant eligibility and working patients up for organ transplant Evaluating potential donor organs for transplant suitability and arranging transplant surgery for recipients Managing all the information pathways in living organ donation and transplantation Completing data capture, analysis and reporting other administrative functions required for transplant program operations 1 Coordinating the care of transplant patients and providing follow-up and care throughout the continuum of care including pre-transplant, transplant admission and post- transplant phases.
