Job Description

Key Responsibilities Define, implement, and maintain data standards, policies, and procedures. Ensure data accuracy, consistency, completeness, and integrity across systems. Collaborate with data owners, data architects, and business analysts to resolve data issues and align data across platforms. Monitor and report on data quality metrics and KPIs. Support master data management (MDM) and metadata management efforts. Participate in data governance forums and contribute to documentation and data lineage. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and internal policies. Assist in the onboarding of new data sources, ensuring proper classification and cataloging. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field. 5+ years of experience in data stewardship, data governance, or data quality roles. Strong knowledge of data governance frameworks, MDM, and data catalog tools (i.e., Collibra, Informatica, Alation). Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in SQL and experience working with data in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus. (ref:hirist.tech)
