Role & responsibilities Ensure smooth and efficient operation of effluent treatment plants, zero liquid discharge plant (Reverse osmosis, multiple effect evaporator, agitated thin film dryer plants etc.). Air pollution control and management.Ensure solid, hazardous, bio-medical waste, e-wastes management & handling as per regulatory requirements. Co-ordinate with landfill, incineration, co-processing & waste mixing facilities, recyclers etc. for disposal of hazardous waste. Also co-ordinate with concerned stakeholders for managing & handling of non-hazardous wastes. Fulfill all requirements of regulatory bodies such as Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Pollution Control Boards etc. and monitor compliance.
