Location: On-site/In-office at Chennai Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM Please note that interviews will be conducted online between 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM IST. Applicants should be available during these hours for the interview. As a UX/Technical Writer , you will be responsible for producing clear, concise, and user-friendly content that improves the experience of our customers. You will collaborate with the product, UX/UI design, and development teams to ensure that all documentation, user-facing content, and instructional materials are informative, easy to understand, and aligned with the products goals. Key Responsibilities: Create and Maintain Content : Develop and manage product documentation, user manuals, FAQs, in-app content, release notes, and other instructional materials. Work with Cross-functional Teams : Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, product managers, and developers to ensure the content aligns with the product's design and functionality. Ensure Clarity and Consistency : Write and edit user-facing content that is clear, concise, and consistent with the company's tone and voice. Improve User Experience : Assist in the creation of in-app copy, tooltips, error messages, and onboarding content to ensure users have an intuitive and smooth experience with the product. Create Technical Documentation : Write API documentation, release notes, and other technical content in a manner that is easy to understand for both technical and non-technical audiences. Maintain Documentation Standards : Establish and adhere to content standards, templates, and guidelines to ensure uniformity and clarity across all product documentation. Conduct User Research : Engage with users to gather feedback and ensure that the content addresses user needs and pain points effectively. Skills and Qualifications: Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical writing, UX writing, or a related field. Writing Skills : Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts in simple language. Technical Understanding : Familiarity with product development processes and technical concepts, including the ability to understand and document APIs and software systems. UX/UI Knowledge : Experience working with UX/UI design teams and an understanding of user-centered design principles. Tools & Technologies : Proficiency in using documentation tools such as Confluence, Jira, and any other relevant tools for managing documentation. Collaboration : Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams (UX/UI designers, developers, product managers). Attention to Detail : Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to creating high-quality content. Desirable Qualifications: Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment. Familiarity with content management systems (CMS). Knowledge of localization and translation processes for international users.
