JOB TITLE: Appraisal Review (Valuation QC) Residential SHIFT TIMING: Must be open for Night Shift POSITION TYPE: Full-Time LOCATION: Chennai Experience Range: Min 1 year 2 years Job description Appraisal report QC reviewer is responsible for ensuring that appraisal reports comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company guidelines. Their role is crucial in maintaining accuracy, consistency, and credibility in property valuations. Their key tasks include as below: Key Responsibilities: Verifying that property details (square footage, room count, lot size, etc.) match public records and MLS data. Checking comparables (comps) to ensure they are appropriate, recent, and well-supported. Validating adjustments made in the appraisal report to confirm they are logical and data-supported. Identifying red flags such as inflated values, improper selection of comps, or missing documentation. Ensuring the appraisers opinion of value is well-supported by objective market data. Checking for inconsistencies or missing information pages in the appraisal report. Knowledge of FNMA & FHA guidelines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Hands-on experience with forms types: 1004 Single Family Residential (SFR) 1025 Multifamily (2-4 Units) 2055 Exterior products. 1073 Condominum. 1075 Exterior Condominum. 1004C Manufactured home. 1004D Re-inspection. Disastars forms like CDiar, Diar, Cir-Reinspection etc.
