Serves as the instructional leader of his/her school, articulating the middle school curriculum approach. Maintains an atmosphere within the school that is conducive to good learning and appropriate for the development of sound character. Conducts a program of effective management involving all building personnel, parents, and students. Arranges for the supervision of all curricular and extra-curricular activities which take place at the school or which are sponsored by the school Makes regular visits to classrooms. Job Title: Student Wellness Coach- Student Wellbeing ServicesReporting to: Vice President- Student Wellbeing ServicesSupervisory responsibility for: Counseling and Mental Health, Student WellbeingInternal:Deans, principals, Teaching and other administrative staffExternal:Psychologist, Psychiatrists on the Panel, ParentsKey responsibilities: Provide one-one counselling for students Identify and notify any critical cases to the management so that timely interventions are enabled Conduct workshops for staff members on topics relating to student wellbeing Review all records of student interactions in counseling sessions Prepare weekly reports for managements review Understand student issues and bring to the notice of management so that appropriate action can be taken in a timely manner Prepare regular content relating to student wellbeing and academic development Interact with parents wherever necessary to promote student psychological and emotional wellbeing Liaise with College Principals and Deans regarding support services for students who take up counseling Identify and report any incidents of abuse including physical, psychological and sexual to the management/ concerned authorities so that appropriate and timely action can be taken Any other duties as reasonably required by the VP or Associate Director, DirectorsEducational Qualifications and experience:Graduation or post Graduation in Psychology 1 to 5 experience working with clients with a wide spectrum of psychological issues. Ability to identify psychological ailments and the processes to be followed in treating clients. Ability to foster therapeutic relationships with clients in order to provide psychological services best suited to the client. Ability to work and lead a small team and build networking with external stake holders.Note: Must speak Telugu.
