Experience:The candidate must have 6-12 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking - Coverage / Advisory.The sectors ideally covered could be -Consumer, Consumer Tech, Retail, ManufacturingHealthcare and PharmaEnterprise TechExperience in Advisory Deal Closures (M&A, PE, Restructuring) along-with Sector Knowledge and Business Development Experience Key Responsibilities:Business development for target sectors / clients across public and private market dealsBuilding relationships with key players and decision makers in the sectorTracking key developments in the Sector & Target Companies.Independently drive the transaction and the execution process with the teamDeveloping the positioning in the pitch books & building deal thesesResponsible to overview the due diligence, analysis and documentation of live transactionsMaintain databases and case studies of transactions in the relevant sector/product. Relevant Skills, Knowledge and Experience:Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision.Self-driven with ability to work long hours under tight deadlines with very high attention to detail.Impeccable research, quantitative and analytical skills, especially in explaining market events.Well versed with key Financial and Analytical skills, Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Familiarity with Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters.Top notch interpersonal skills and ability to hold conversation at CXO level; ability to articulate complex thoughts in a clear, concise and compelling manner.Organize work, manage multiple projects, coordinate with different people, meet deadlines; ability to work efficiently with different teams.Drive things for successful closure.Positive attitude, Ability to listen, learn and understand.
