Role & responsibilities: Homz N Space is looking for a Videographer & Editor to create high-quality real estate videos that showcase properties, client testimonials, and promotional content. The ideal candidate will be responsible for shooting, editing, and uploading videos to our YouTube channel, website, and other digital platforms, ensuring engaging and professional content. Capture high-quality videos of real estate properties, walkthroughs, and client testimonials. Edit videos using professional software to enhance visual appeal. Add relevant effects, transitions, voiceovers, and background music to improve video quality. Optimize video content for YouTube, website, and social media platforms. Upload and manage video content on the Homz N Space YouTube channel and website. Stay updated with real estate video trends and techniques to improve content quality. Preferred candidate profile: 1-3 years of experience in videography and video editing. Proficiency in video editing software. Strong storytelling skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Familiarity with YouTube video optimization and SEO for video visibility Key Skills: Video Editing Software Proficiency: Mastering industry-standard software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or others. Understanding the interface, tools, and workflows of the chosen software. Video Sequencing and Timing: Arranging video clips in a logical and engaging order. Adjusting the timing and pacing of the video to create the desired effect. Transitions and Effects: Using transitions (fades, dissolves, wipes, etc.) to smoothly connect scenes. Applying visual effects to enhance the video's aesthetic. Audio Editing: Synchronizing audio with video. Adjusting audio levels, adding sound effects, and mixing audio tracks. Cleaning up audio. Color Correction and Grading: Adjusting the color balance, brightness, and contrast of video footage. Applying color grading to create a specific mood or aesthetic. Video Compression and Exporting: Understanding different video codecs and file formats. Optimizing video files for various platforms (YouTube, social media, etc.). Graphic Design and Motion Graphics Skills: Graphic Design Principles: Understanding composition, color theory, typography, and layout. Creating visually appealing graphics for video. Motion Graphics: Creating animated text, logos, and other visual elements. Using motion graphics software like Adobe After Effects. Visual Effects (VFX): This is a more advanced skill, that involves creating special effects that would be hard to capture in normal video. This can include things like, digitally created explosions, or adding in digital set extensions. Image Editing: Proficiency in programs like Adobe Photoshop, for creating and manipulating still images that will be used in the video. Other Important Skills: Storytelling: Understanding how to convey a message or tell a story through video. Attention to Detail: Ensuring that the video is polished and free of errors. Creativity: Developing original and engaging visual concepts. Communication and Collaboration: Working effectively with clients and other team members.
