We are currently seeking a dedicated VMware Support Engineer to join our client's dynamic team in India. Role Responsibilities Provide on-site support for VMware environments. Install, configure, and maintain VMware infrastructure. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to VMware products. Monitor system performance and optimize for efficiency. Implement and maintain backup solutions for VMware systems. Assist with network configuration and management. Document processes, configurations, and changes accurately. Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure system stability and performance. Manage virtual servers and storage systems. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards. Conduct system upgrades and patch management. Provide training and support for end-users regarding VM operations. Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution. Respond to support calls and tickets in a timely manner. Stay updated with the latest VMware technologies and best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred). 2+ years of experience in VMware support roles. Solid understanding of computer networking fundamentals. VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP) are a plus. Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail. Experience with Windows/Linux server operating systems. Familiarity with cloud computing concepts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery. Comprehensive knowledge of virtualization technologies. Strong documentation skills and technical writing ability. Customer service-oriented approach. Adaptability to changing technologies and processes. Strong problem-solving abilities. Willingness to learn and grow in a rapidly evolving environment.
