Primary responsibilities will include: 1. Strategic Financial Leadership: Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with the companys overall objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO/ CFO and executive team on financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. 2. Financial Planning and Analysis: Oversee the preparation and management of the annual budget and long-term financial plans. Monitor and analyse financial performance, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making. 3. Financial Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements. 4. Risk Management Identify and manage financial risks, implementing robust internal controls and procedures. Develop strategies to mitigate financial risks and ensure financial stability. 5. Capital Management Optimize capital allocation to support business growth and operational needs. Conduct regular financial reviews to ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines. 6. Team Leadership and Development: Lead and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development. Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of the finance team. 7. Tax Planning and Compliance : Ensure tax regulation compliance to the T and Ensure timely filing of all relevant taxes Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations and implement necessary changes in financial processes and train the team on the key areas. 8. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for investors, auditors, and regulatory authorities. Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing transparency and insights into financial performance. The Ideal Candidate: Should either be a qualified CA OR should have Master s degree in Finance from a reputed institute. Minimum of 15 years of experience in finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong understanding of Indian financial regulations and accounting standards. Exceptional financial planning, analysis, and reporting skills. Partner with CFO CEO to establish and track revenue goals Proven experience in the e-commerce or consumer durables sector is highly desirable. Strategic thinking and the ability to drive long-term financial planning. Excellent leadership and team management abilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and ethical standards.
