Job Title: Vice President – Projects & Engineering Location: Gurgaon Department: Projects & Engineering Reports To: Managing Director / CEO Experience Required: 15+ years Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Laundry Services B2B Job Summary: We are seeking an accomplished and visionary Vice President – Projects & Engineering to lead our project execution and engineering functions. This strategic leadership role is responsible for end-to-end project delivery, engineering excellence, cost control, and aligning projects with business objectives. The ideal candidate should bring a strong technical background, a track record of leading complex projects, and the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of all engineering and capital projects within budget, timeline, and quality standards Develop and oversee engineering strategies, technical roadmaps, and process improvements Establish best practices in project management, risk assessment, and quality control Manage cross-functional teams of project managers, engineers, and technical specialists Collaborate with departments including Operations, Procurement, Finance, and HR to align project goals with company strategy Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and industry standards Identify and manage external vendors, consultants, and contractors Report regularly to executive leadership on project progress, financials, and potential risks Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement Support talent development, succession planning, and team mentorship within the engineering and projects division Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field); Master's degree preferred Minimum of 15 years of experience in engineering/project management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role Proficiency in AutoCAD for reviewing and approving technical drawings and layouts Proven track record of delivering large-scale projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Strong financial and commercial acumen; experience managing project budgets and resource allocation Expertise in project management tools and methodologies (PMP, Agile, etc.) Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills Knowledge of industry regulations, compliance, and HSE standards Preferred Attributes: Experience in handling greenfield or brownfield projects Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process optimization frameworks Demonstrated ability to lead change and manage large, distributed teams Experience in dealing with clients, vendors, and external partners in a technical environment Show more Show less
