Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components. Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence. Tata Electronics Pte. Ltd is looking for an individual with experience in Wafer Fabrication Industrial Engineering, interpersonal skills and drive so serve as the Industrial Principal Engineer. Tasks • Overall Capacity modelling/planning/expenditures for wafer fabrication. Works with demand planning, manufacturing, procurement, process and equipment engineering to ensure demand is met. • Review capacity model, understanding the constraints and track cycle to cycle capacity changes. • Plan and optimize cleanroom layout to improve equipment density, production flow and capacity expansion. • Identify bottle-neck process and establish capacity improvement plans with cross-functional teams for capacity ramping/ expansion. • Review capital and cashflow requirements, driving activities to improve capital efficiency and reduce cost. • Conduct time study and update processes cycle time. • Lead and drive cross functional teams to continuously improve OEE, cycle time and processes. • Identify process and operation inefficiencies in order to propose solutions for optimization and improvement. • Project management using Gantt chart / Action plan to execute and track the timeline of tools ready for production. • Lead, coordinate and work with cross functional teams such as logistic, contractors, tools suppliers, equipment engineers, process engineers, facility engineers, environment health and safety officer to install the tools as planned. Job Requirements BS in Industrial Engineering required, MS preferred. Thorough knowledge of Industrial Engineering concepts, practices, and principles Preferred experience with wafer fabrication Good communication skills (verbal, interpersonal, written). Possess Project Management skills. Excellent problem solving, continuous improvement analytical skills (6Sigma / 5S / Lean Manufacturing). Ability to use software models to solve problems. Must be a team player, detail oriented, and work well with others and perform well under pressure Conduct time study on site. Able to work in fast-paced environment. Proactive and able to work independently with minimum supervision. Self-driven and Self motivate to get job done. 5+ years related experience in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, experience in Semiconductor Industry preferred. Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office tools: Excel, Power Point, Project, Word & Visio AutoCAD Simulation Software Experience with Reporting tools Advance Planning systems Reporting systems such as FabTime MES (Promis) basic knowledge Show more Show less
