About Us : Bela Blue Kitchen is a cozy, vibrant restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere. We offer a range of delectable dishes and focus on providing exceptional service and memorable dining experiences to our guests. We are currently looking to hire enthusiastic, customer-focused waitresses to join our team. Job Responsibilities : Greet and seat guests warmly and in a friendly manner. Present menus to guests, provide detailed descriptions of food and beverages, and offer recommendations based on their preferences. Take and accurately relay orders to the kitchen staff. Ensure guests receive their orders promptly and efficiently. Monitor guests’ needs throughout the dining experience and offer assistance as necessary. Maintain a clean and organised dining area, including resetting tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring cleanliness at all times. Handle cash and process payments via cash or card accurately and politely. Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive resolution. Assist in maintaining restaurant inventory, such as keeping track of stock levels of cutlery, napkins, and condiments. Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure smooth restaurant operations. Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for guests and staff. Uphold the standards and reputation of Bela Blue Kitchen at all times. Key Skills & Qualifications : Previous experience as a waitress or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced environment. Positive attitude with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service. Punctuality and reliability. Basic knowledge of food and beverages (training can be provided). Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Knowledge of POS (Point of Sale) systems is a plus.
