Job Description

Role & responsibilities Receiving and Processing Shipments: Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy, damage, and compliance with company standards. Sort, label, and store items in designated locations according to inventory management protocols. Ensure timely and accurate receipt of goods. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels. Monitor stock levels to prevent stockouts and overstocking. Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts. Manage stock control and reconcile data storage systems. Order Fulfilment: Process customer orders accurately and efficiently. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Ensure accurate and timely dispatch of orders. Prepare shipping labels and documentation. Warehouse Operations: Supervise and coordinate warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, and dispatch. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Implement and enforce warehouse procedures and protocols. Ensure adherence to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements. Return Management: Process returns and exchanges efficiently. Facilitate the return of damaged products to vendors. Work with the purchasing department to update and negotiate vendor contracts. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with other departments, including customer service and sales. Troubleshoot order issues with suppliers. Provide regular updates on warehouse operations and inventory levels. Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in warehouse management software and systems. Knowledge of inventory management principles. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Familiarity with D2C, B2C and B2B logistics and fulfilment processes.
